Join us to help celebrate our 140th German Day Oktoberfest. This family friendly event started 140 years ago here in Omaha open our doors and welcome everyone to immerse themselves into the German Culture and celebrate their own German heritage. We pride ourselves on being the largest and oldest running German Fest in Nebraska. Along with German Day we celebrate the rich tradition of Oktoberfest and everything that goes along with it.
Come taste all of the traditional German foods and the delicious Tortes. We also have a large selection of German beers to choose from. Traditional entertainment is also on hand with 3-4 Bands playing each day from the North Festzelt to the Main and South Hall. We also have traditional German Dancers, the Heimat Tänzer and our two German Singing groups the GAS Sängerchor and the Singenden Wanderer.
The 140th German Day- Oktoberfest runs Friday Sept.20th from 5:00 pm - 12 midnight and Saturday Sept. 21st from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
remember on Saturday the 21st we have carnival style games and face painting for our younger guest. Hammerschlagen and Stein Slide for the Adults. Free shuttle parking from King of Kings Church parking lot.
