Join local mayors, judges, pastors, small business owners, and candidate Caesar Gonzales at the 13th Congressional District Gala. All are welcome regardless of political affiliation!

Caesar Gonzales & Bringing Vocational Schooling to the 13th Congressional District
"I am a living example of what education can do for a young man in unfavorable conditions. With a lack of guidance in my neighborhood, I was lucky to receive my post-secondary education at B.O.C.E.S (Boards of Cooperative Educational Services), an adult vocational school teaching and certifying citizens in cosmetology, welding, brick masonry, and more. Through B.O.C.E.S. many became certified as an RN or like me, became a mechanic. B.O.C.E.S. provided child care programs for their students, allowing single mothers and fathers to take the path to higher wage jobs as well. I am an example of how investing in people changes communities for the better." - Caesar Gonzales for Congress.
Let's break it down: With vocational training producing a higher percentage of skilled workers, there will be an increase in wages and small businesses within the district. Economically, residents in the district will be paying the same percentage of taxes on a higher income, creating more tax revenue in the 13th. With the proper allocation of federal resources, improvements in the district's infrastructure, access to public transportation, and schools will begin to improve, increasing property values for current and future homeowners in the district. This is the foundation for stronger families and wealthier neighborhoods, interrupting the "school to Pr*son pipeline."
Caesar's Platform:
It's time to present a viable alternative to the incumbent party's "school to Pr*son pipeline." As your representative in Congress, I will support vocational training facilities for our young adults, displaced workers, and veterans. I also support better streets, better schools, and safer communities.
I will fight for transparency, accountability, and oversight of federal funding and resources coming into our district.
I will push for school choice which will be supported by vouchers. Our children should not have to be subjugated to failing schools, nor our educators to degenerate conditions. We must relearn that "education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." - Malcolm X. We cannot wait for the future like the 20-year incumbent. We must begin building the future today.
