About this Event

Tours begin at 6:30 pm and continue every 15 minutes until 8 pm. Select your date, and then click on "tickets" and scroll down to see all available ticket times.

Explore Wethersfield’s Ancient Burying Ground at dusk by Lantern Light and meet some of the individuals who helped shape our town’s more than 375 year history.  Like last year's tours, characters have been drawn from Wethersfield's Maritime History. Space is limited so purchase tickets for this popular tour early! Ages 13 and up. In the event of inclement weather, provisions have been made to move the tour indoors. There is no rain date.

This historical walk covers approximately one mile over sometimes uneven terrain in dimly lit areas, and is approximately one hour and ten minutes long. Tour participants should dress accordingly for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Due to the format and subject matter of the program, it is not recommended for children under the age of 13.

The tour begins and ends at the Wethersfield Museum at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center, 200 Main Street in Wethersfield. Parking is in the rear of the building.

Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your tour time to check in at the reception desk on the first floor. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and tickets are non-refundable.
