13th Annual Knox Asian Festival Meetup

Let's reinstate some meetups - this festival is especially colorful, lively, friendly, and easy to get around in a group - or small sets - of photographers. Most folks that have come to past meetups know that keeping photographers together as one unit is like herding cats, lol !
August is usually HOT so *depending on the event scheduling* am planning on later afternoon. Noon light is usually too harsh or heavy contrast. We have sometimes taken a break for group lunch - for a break from the weather and recharging.
There is a small charge to enter the park, and the website says the ampitheater will be closed for construction - but the shows will still take place on the lawns. Always something new to see and learn - bring your family or friends if they don't mind you stopping often to take pictures! Even better - challenge them to make some amazing images of their own with their phones!
