The 13th Annual Jackson Street Jazz Festival (formerly the Jackson Street Jazz Walk) takes over the neighborhood and transforms it into an epicenter of legacy, deep grooves, unmatched talent, and undeniable cool—all coming together to proudly honor the Seattle Central District's African American music legacy under the banners of MUSIC - COMMUNITY - LEGACY.
SOUNDS & STAGES:
We’re bringing multi-genre heat spanning Jazz, Afro-Latin, Funk, Blues, World Jazz, and Soul—complete with exclusive panoramic rooftop sets. Enjoy 20 acts across 12 stages featuring explosive, vibrant music from world-class Seattle mainstays alongside can't-miss new discoveries, including the Alex Dugdale FADE-Tet, D’Vonne Lewis Quartet, The David Holden Band, Ari Joshua Quartet, The Joe Brazil Legacy Band, Eugenie Jones, SERICA (a world music ensemble with Chinese, Iranian, and US band members) and more.

THE LISTENING ROOM: featuring sacred conversations with jazz master Nathan Breedlove! Intimate couch-lounge revelations from the two-time Grammy nominee, legendary trumpeter, and bandleader, unpacking his experiences as a world-renowned jazz artist.
MOVEMENT & LEGACY:
Absolutely incredible live dancing with the Pivot Dance Emporium, plus the festival’s unique interactive historical displays commemorating the iconic legends of the Central District's music heyday from the 1940s to the 1960s.
THE SCENE: No filler. No fluff. Just raw artistry, immaculate energy, and the kind of live sound that stays with you long after the last note fades. Open-air street energy, deep culinary roots, cold drinks in the outdoor 21+ garden, and the unmistakable buzz of community connecting under the Seattle late-summer sky.
