The 2025 Booker Prize winning Hungarian-British author David Szalay is in conversation with Roddy Doyle, Booker Prize Chair of judges, about his lauded book Flesh, and his reflections six months on from winning the life-changing prize. Doyle remarked "[w]e had never read anything quite like it" and described it as an "extraordinary, singular novel". The novel asks profound questions about what makes a life worth living - and what breaks it.
