Butte Historical Memorials will be holding a Commemoration Ceremony for the 130th anniversary of the “Butte Warehouse Explosion of 1895” at Fire Station #1 on the corner of Mercury and Idaho. As part of the ceremony, we will be unveiling our “Headstone” project and honoring the 58th victim, William Brinck, who was unknown as being a victim for over 124 years.
Hot coffee and hot chocolate available after the ceremony.
Please join us as we honor the 58 known souls who lost their lives from the tragic event.
