13 Colonies QSO Party

https://www.13colonies.us/ is the official website for the Annual 13 Colonies Special Event, one of the most popular summer activities in the amateur radio (ham radio) community.
Held every year during the week of Independence Day (July 1 to July 7), the event celebrates US history and independence.
How the Event Works
The Core Stations: Special amateur radio stations set up in each of the original 13 colonies. They use unique, sequential call signs ranging from K2A through K2M.
The Bonus Stations: Operators can also track down special bonus stations representing key historical roles, such as WM3PEN (Philadelphia/Liberty Bell), GB13COL (Great Britain), and TM13COL (France).
The Objective: Ham radio operators and shortwave listeners (SWLs) worldwide try to find and contact these stations across various radio bands and modes (such as voice, Morse code, or digital modes).
The "Clean Sweep": Contacting all 13 colony stations plus the bonus stations is highly competitive and referred to by the community as achieving a "Clean Sweep."
What the Website Offers
The site serves as the central hub for the event where participants can:
View current event dates, official rules, and active radio bands.
Look up details for individual state coordinators and active call signs.
Request official, collectible QSL cards (confirmation postcards) or beautifully designed historical certificates confirming their contacts after the event ends.
