Maha Shivratri which refers to the "Night of Lord Shiva" is one of the most widely observed Hindu traditions in the country. Festivals like these are held during the Hindu lunar months of Phalguna or Maagh (February or March). On this auspicious day thousands of people come to temples to worship the Lord. It is also thought that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were wedded. In honor of Shiva Linga many people fast and offer sweets flowers milk and more on the day.
This Event is going to held by Sri Viswanataha Saraswathi Guruji. 12th year Shivaratri Ahoratra Rudrabhishekam and Rudra Homam are going to be held by guruji on these two days (18th & 19th Feb) for the sake of Loka Kalyanam (Praying For the world's being).
