Just like a fine single malt Scotch, River City Pipes & Drums has “matured” for 12 years to become the region’s best pipe band. Come celebrate with us as we observe our 12th Bandiversary!
WE’RE HAVING A PARTY!
Saturday, August 15, in the Brass Tap Room, 614 S Tyler, Wichita KS 67209. Come in through Side Pockets pool hall, and take the hidden entrance behind the bookcase to immerse yourself in a true vintage pub atmosphere. Enjoy a pint at the bar, or a good dram by the fireplace, while the Pipers & Drummers of River City play their best tunes.
We are very pleased to welcome for the first time special guests Anya Hamilton and the Step Through Scottish Dancers from Amira’s Dance Productions. Anya and company will grace us with the grace and musicality of centuries-old Scottish dance traditions. Not to be missed!
In addition to the private bar and food service, we’ll have some sweet treats to celebrate our 12th Bandiversary, and every guest will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win one of three Highland heritage prizes.

Our 12 Bandiversary party is a free event, but space is limited. Please mark yourself “Going” on the Facebook event, even if you’re not 100% sure you can make it. We’ll count you with a +1; you can tell us in the comments if more family and friends are coming with you.
Begin by ordering dinner and drinks at 7 PM. The band and dancers will alternate sets starting at 7:45. This is a family-friendly all-ages event, but all guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult, and must depart before 10 PM.
