Your chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon is on! The full marathon is one of Southern California’s most beautiful and iconic races. We kick things off in the quiet town of Ojai, CA. You make your way through the scenic mountains on your way downhill to an epic beach finish in beautiful Ventura, CA. M2B's fast, wide course keeps your runtimes low (hello PR!) while the beautiful views keep your spirits high.
?♂️HALF MARATHON
Half the Distance, All the Fun! The certified half marathon route begins in Oak View, CA. You get to run alongside the racers of the full marathon and enjoy the same valley and beach views.
?♂️10k
The Mountains 2 Beach 10K is fast, flat(ish) and beautiful. The start begins at the Finish line located inside the San Buenaventura State Beach. You will begin your race in conjunction with the 5k’ers, heading immediately out along the bike path paralleling the coast line. After Mile 2.5, approximately, you will separate from the 5k and head left on Harbor Blvd and over Hwy 101 via the pedestrian bridge. At Front St you will join the Full/Half Marathon Route and continue your way back to the beach. After a short out and back on Harbor (caution you will encounter 5k’ers here), Head north one more time up the bike path for some extra beach front running. Once you pop back out onto Harbor you are enroute to the finish line where the post race finish party awaits!
? BEACHFRONT 5k
Ditch the hills and make a beeline for the beach! Sprint along the lightning-fast beachside Promenade with an out-and-back loop, then cruise into the finish line alongside the full and half marathoners. After you collect your sweet medal, dive straight into the post-race bash.
?? KIDS 1k FUN RUN
We believe in active healthy lifestyles so let's get those kids started early. Bring your young runners to the Saturday Packet Pick-up Expo! Let them explore this new runner's world with our Kids 1k Fun Run—a sprint around the San Buenaventura State Beach Park designed for all kids 12 and under. The best part? The kids' finish line is the same epic spot as the rest of the racers, making it a time of fun and fitness for the whole family! ??
