12th Annual Gatsby Afternoon Picnic

This year's Gatsby Afternoon Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 (Rain Date: Sunday, September 22, 2024)!

Enjoy a pleasant day on the beautiful grounds of Wilton House Museum. This year we’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of George Gershwin’s masterpiece, “Rhapsody in Blue,” and we’re encouraging blue-themed attire and picnic displays. In any case, come dressed for the occasion and transport yourself to a simpler time.Entertainment will include:- The 1920s sounds of local favorites, the Grace Street Seven
- An open dance floor for all guests to Charleston, swing, and otherwise dance the day away
- This year's contests will feature Best Dressed, Best Picnic Display, Best Pie, and a return of the ever popular Charleston contest!
- Picnic games such as musical chairs, croquet, and more!
- Photo booth with a professional photographer
- Daisy's Vintage Closet
- And of course, the fabulous vintage road warriors of the Old Dominion Model A Ford Club will be in attendanceAdmission: $25/$20 ADSVA members. Advance tickets will be available for purchase beginning August 21st. Admission will also be sold the day of the event via card or Venmo only. No Cash.
