Call for papers

The California School of Management and Leadership, Alliant University is organizing the 12th California Annual International Conference on Management and Leadership Practices. The conference will be held at the California School of Management and Leadership, Alliant University from May 7-9, 2026. Participation is planned in two modality options: on-ground at Alliant's San Diego campus in California, USA, and virtual zoom presentations. The aim of the conference is to promote and exchange ideas and research in the field of Management and Leadership.

Papers are invited for presentation and posters are to be exhibited at the conference. Young academicians and researchers are especially encouraged to present their work to an experienced audience. Participants and those with accepted papers have to register prior to the conference. Authors interested in presenting at the conference are requested to submit an initial, up to 600 words abstract or their full paper on business research and management practices in one of the following fields:

  2. Use of ChatGPT and other Tools in higehr Ed
  3. Curriculum design in the era of AI Tools
  4. Health care system
  5. Food security management
  6. Business Analytics
  7. Supply chain management
  8. Enterprise systems
  9. Project management
  10. E-Governance
  11. Management information system
  12. Marketing, Business and Marketing strategies and International Business
  13. Leadership practices
  14. HRM/E- Human Resource Management
  15. Management Science
  16. Finance and International Finance
  17. Business Ethics
  18. Quantitative Methods, Business Statistics/Econometrics
  19. Business and Corporate Law/Law
  20. Entrepreneurship
  21. Business & Economics/Microeconomics
  22. Hospitality and Tourism
  23. Accounting / IT- Accounting and Auditing

The list is only indicative. Authors may also contribute a paper in other relevant fields.

An academic review committee will base their reviews and acceptance of submitted papers on relevance to the above broad range of business and management practices, and contribution to the literature and general body of knowledge.

Submission Guidelines

Papers should be submitted by emailing [email protected] as a Word file (.doc or .docx)

Word length for paper including abstract, bold headline and subheadings is 2000 to 3000. All text should be Times New Roman font, 12 point except the title. Tables, figures, charts, graphics should be inserted in the text where relevant. APA format.

The paper title (center justified, bold, not capitalized, 14 point,)

Author 1 and Author 2, 3, 4, ... Title of Authors, Include Affiliation

ABSTRACT (Bold, center justified, 12 point font, capitalized)

Abstract text has brief synopsis of paper: (one paragraph; Single spaced; left justified, 12 point)

INTRODUCTION (Section headings: Bold, center justified, 12 point font, capitalized)

Intro Text gives background and motivation for the study: (multiple paragraphs; double spaced; left justified, all references cited]

Other suggested sections: RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, RESULTS, INTERPRETATION, CONCLUSIONS, FUTURE RESEARCH

REFERENCES (Articles should be listed alphabetically by first author last name; APA format.)


All Abstracts selected for paper presentation will be published in the conference proceedings report.


All full papers, with further review and minor modifications, will be later published in the annual issue of the peer-reviewed journal: International Journal of Business Research and Management Practices in Global Environments, ISSN number: 2473-4047. https://ijbrm.com/

  • Participants for paper presentation in conference (Alliant students): $25
  • Participants for paper presentation in conference (non-students): $100
  • Audience not presenting nor publishing paper in the journal: Free

  • Paper submission deadline for presentation in conference: MARCH 31, 2026 (submit Word file .doc or .docx by emailing [email protected])
  • Acceptance for presentation in conference: April 30, 2026 (rolling reviews, acceptance one week after receipt of paper).
  • All papers selected for presentation in the conference will be published in the conference proceedings report.


Journal Publication:

  • If accepted for presentation in conference, paper submission deadline for publication in journal: August 15, 2026
  • All papers (after any recommended edits or modifications requested during review) will be later published in the annual issue of the peer-reviewed journal: International Journal of Business Research and Management Practices in Global Environments with ISSN number: 2473-4047.
  • Note that paper publication fee is separate from the conference attendance and presentation fee.
