12th Annual Black Infant Mortality Awareness Walk
About this Event
Black babies in the United States are more than twice as likely to die before their first birthday, and Black women face significantly higher risks during pregnancy and postpartum.
These outcomes are not inevitable—they are preventable.
At BIMAW, we walk to:
-Raise awareness
-Honor lives
-Support families
-Advocate for change
-Build a stronger, healthier future for Black mothers and babies
With every step, we move closer to equity.
