Founded in 2001, 127 has become a key player in Iran’s progressive cultural scene, blending Persian lyrics with Western music to explore themes of frustration, isolation, and hope. They have inspired a generation of Iranian youth and influenced many emerging musicians. Despite not performing together for over a decade, their albums like Khal Punk, Pop Emergency, and In Your Own Way have left a lasting impact on Iran’s non-mainstream music scene.
