This instructor-led workshop is great for intermediate to advanced artists. Everyone is welcome, but we recommend some art experience as you'll be designing and sketching your own image on a tile. You are encouraged to bring your own sketch or design ideas to this workshop.
You will walk step by step through creating tile art using the cuerda seca "dry cord" style, where wax outlines create a barrier between glaze colors. In this workshop, you will bring your own design idea and draw it onto a tile using a wax resist, and then glaze the design in your choice of color palette. All materials are provided.
