About this Event
You Can Hike with Us is an inclusive hiking group for all skill levels. Our meetups are open to all adults (18+) who self-identify as women.
We are continuing our community outreach this month by holding a food and toiletry drive! Near food shelf in Crystal could use our support during the holiday, needs are high.
Current needs (Please only non-perishable food items!)
-Flour, sugar and cooking oil
-Peanut butter, jelly
-Pasta and pasta sauce
-Baby food, diapers
-Hygiene products: toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, tampons/pads
Donation is not required to attend, if you are not in a position to donate, that is ok!

Cost: $7 or free if you have a Washington County Parks annual pass
To be respectful of time, we will do quick intros and embark on our hike around 10:05am. Please ensure you allow enough travel time to arrive by 10am.
There is on lot on your left a little ways into the park on Keats, park here and will meet near the trailhead sign.
Hike: We are planning to hike the Eagle Point Lake Inner Trail, about 3.7 miles unpaved with a mostly flat terrain.

What to bring: Hiking boots/sneakers with good traction, dress for the weather (layers are your friend!), sunglasses, phone/camera, water, snacks. This time of year trails may be icy/snowy, plan accordingly with your footwear.
Due to the larger group setting, no dogs or pets (unless they are working/service animals.)
We will cap sign-ups at 40 attendees. This ensures everyone joining us has a comfortable hiking experience and avoids negatively impacting the experience of others recreating on the trails.

If you don’t feel well the day of the hike, please stay home. We’ll catch you at a future meetup and hope you feel better soon.
