All are welcome to join us for singing in the living tradition of the Sacred Harp, one of the earliest forms of American music. Newcomers and families with children are welcome. No experience is required. We will mostly sing from the 1991 edition, but you can also bring the 2025 edition or printouts of other shape note music.
Dinner will be served at noon, followed by more singing. Local cooks are invited to bring a dish to share.
It's a beautiful time of year to visit Memphis! Let us know if you need a place to stay or anything else.
