The Student Leadership Training Program is a series of conferences that are designed to help students gain skills in leadership.
Building Community through Leadership and Service: Showing up with a Service Mindset
Each conference is unique, with an agenda arranged by the current year’s student directors and the planning committee. The conferences are an interactive educational experience where students learn various leadership techniques. At each workshop, a main topic is presented by a featured speaker, followed by breakout sessions guided by the Student Directors, with facilitation by instructors from Adventure Programs at Clark Sports Center and support from the Counselor Education graduate students at SUNY Oneonta. Students enjoy the exchange of ideas and practices that they are able to implement in their home schools.
