Join us and celebrate World Ostomy Day and the 11th Annual Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 on the scenic American Tobacco Trail in Durham, NC. The start/finish line will be held on the grassy knoll area in front of Haverty's Furniture at 8160 Renaissance Parkway Durham, NC. The race will take you from the start/finish area on to the American Tobacco Trail north, crossing over I-40 with the turn around near the Crooked Creek Trailhead on the ATT. This is an out and back course that is certified by the USATF. There is a gradual hill at the beginning and then mostly flat running with a downhill portion near the end. This is a family friendly event with DJ, kids dash, kids activities, and a fantastic silent auction with local sports tickets and memorabilia, restaurant gift cards, crafts, gift baskets, etc. This year we celebrate World Ostomy Day and we have a few special things that will happen on race day to commemorate this moment.
