The 11th Annual Race for Recovery 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk is set for September 25 at the IRSC Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie. Presented by Healthcite Pharmacy, the race is held on a fast, fun course and timed by MCM Timing. Racers will receive a tech t-shirt as well as a swag bag, refreshments, coffee and cold, cold water! In addition, all finishers get a medal and bragging rights to their friends for starting their weekend on a great foot. Age group winners receive valuable Berry Fresh Cafe gift cards to use at their convenience. Best yet, all proceeds stay right here on the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee helping our neighbors and friends who have mental or behavioral health illnesses and addiction recovery needs afford care and treatment, regardless of their ability to pay. With these conditions at all time high levels, now is the time to invest in your local non-profit. Your support through this race will help us make sure these individuals continue to receive compassionate, needed care, through a pandemic and beyond.
