About this Event
Challenge your literary knowledge and vie for prizes and acclaim at the North Shore Writers Festival's Literary Trivia Night, hosted by author and comedian, Charles Demers.
Team Captains, gather your team of 3 to 6 to compete in this roundhouse event. Only Team Captains should register for this event on behalf of your entire team.
Each member of the winning team will be awarded a prize and the title of 2024 North Shore Writers Festival Literary Trivia Champions. Random draw prizes are also up for grabs from participants.
Light snacks and refreshments (must be 19+) will be available for purchase. Cash only.
Space is limited and registration is required. Instructions will be sent to Team Captains in advance of the event.

The North Shore Writers Festival is presented in partnership by North Vancouver City Library, North Vancouver District Public Library, and West Vancouver Memorial Library.
The Festival would not be made possible without support from the Friends of the Library groups from all three North Shore Libraries, North Shore Writers’ Association, KidsBooks, and the North Shore News.
The Festival takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) , and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. The Coast Salish Peoples have long used oral storytelling to pass on and preserve their cultural teachings. This powerful tradition highlights the important role that stories play in our lives. We are grateful to host the North Shore Writers Festival on the lands of these Nations and honour the art of storytelling.
About our Host
Charles “Charlie” Demers “Just Demers” is a Juno-nominated stand-up comedian, BC Book Prize-nominated author, & co-star of two Emmy-winning Netflix animated series, Beat Bugs and The Last Kids on Earth. He can typically manage only one paragraph in the third person.
