The Handel Aria Competition is an annual event dedicated to promoting the performance of Handel’s extensive vocal repertoire. Six finalists will be chosen to come to Madison, Wisconsin for the final round on August 9, during which the singers will be accompanied on period instruments by the Madison Bach Musicians. This event will be open to the public and available via livestream. Travel grants are available for all finalists, and cash prizes total $5,000.
