11th Annual Footprints on the Heart Candlelighting and Remembrance Event

We look forward to seeing you all at the Clarence Brown Conference Center located in Cartersville, GA for our 2022 candlelighting and remembrance event!

Join us as we come together to honor and remember precious babies whose lives were much too brief. We invite our community to come out and show support to those who have faced the unimaginable loss of a baby in the first two years of life or are walking the journey of infertility. It is important for families to know that they are not walking their journeys alone. Please make plans to join us and bring a friend/family member along with you.

Footprints on the Heart offers free in-person support and services to families facing loss in Bartow, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Whitfield, and by referral we also serve neighboring counties. Our in-person services provided include remembrance photography, memory making, infant burial wear items, H.O.P.E. Boxes, assistance with funeral planning, and ongoing peer support. Helping provide families an opportunity to make as many memories as possible with their baby is at the heart of what we do. Based on Biblical truths found in Jeremiah 1:5, Ecclesiastes 3:1 and Psalm 34:18 we believe each life is precious, no matter how short lived, and leaves a lasting legacy of love. Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich (with or without pecans), Lay's plain potato chips, and a cookie

Drinks: Sweet Tea, bottled water

For this event families are invited to bring a candle that will be lit for the duration of this event. You will take your candle back home with you at the end of the evening. Absolutely NO open flame candles (such as taper candles) will be allowed per venue restrictions. Candles must be in a glass /metal/ceramic/etc. container that prevents the dripping of wax on table linens. If you have any questions about your candle selection do not hesitate to reach out to us. Please refrain from bringing scented candles. We will have some votive candles available on event night as well.

The event will begin at 5pm with a boxed sandwich meal being served. We will all light our candles together as we listen to special song selections and our guest speaker. The evening is typically over within 2-3 hours.
