11th Annual Dog River Fishing Tournament

We are excited to announce that DRCR's 11th Annual Dog River Fishing Tournament will take place on Saturday, October 9th! We invite all professional and recreational fisherman, women and children to join us in this fundraising event to benefit DRCR's mission to improve the water quality of, and access to, Dog River and its tributaries.

This year it is a SPECKLED TROUT & REDFISH SHOOTOUT!! There will be CASH PRIZES!!

• Speckled Trout (can be over 22″ slot)
• Redfish (16”- 26”) slot only

Lines in at 6:00AM; Weigh in from 1:00-3:30PM at the Grand Mariner Restaurant & Marina 6036 Rock Point Rd, Mobile, AL 36605

REGISTRATION & TICKETS will be available for purchase starting September 10th through our website www.dogriver.org and Facebook Page until 10PM Friday, October 8, 2021.

ENTRY FEES:

• Adult (16+): $30 Participants under age 18 must have parental consent

• Youth** (ages 15 and under): $15** Youth may fish in adult category by paying adult fee and having parental consent

PRIZES:

• Adult: Cash (1st: $500, 2nd: $250, and 3rd: $100 in each adult category*)

• Youth: Academy Gift Card (1st - $55, 2nd - $35, 3rd - $20)

Every boat that enters a legal fish will receive a tournament bucket, and each angler weighing in a legal fish will be entered in the drawing for various prize giveaways. (Limited to one entry per registered fisherman)

WHERE CAN THE FISH COME FROM? Inshore Alabama public waters ● Mobile & Baldwin Counties only.

CAPTAIN’S INFORMATIONAL VIDEO: Keeping all anglers/volunteers health a priority, an informational video will be posted on our Facebook page by 7PM the night before the event. The video will cover raffle winners and a few reminders for all anglers. Viewing is optional.
