11th Annual Charlotte African American Festival

You are cordially invited to support the 11th Annual Charlotte African-American Festival. The festival is a celebration of the rich heritage and accomplishments of the African American Community. The festival will be held on Saturday April 20 2024 at the Grady Cole Center at 310 North Kings Drive in downtown Charlotte NC. The festival will include musical performances art literature food dancers drummers fashion shows speakers vendors and notable awards and recognitions. Extraordinary attractions will include a journey through the Underground Railroad the Ashanti Pageant and the Black History Walk of Fame which features exhibits of famous African Americans Africa - the Motherland the Brooklyn Neighborhood Black Wall Street a Black literature book drive and more. Proceeds raised by the 11th Annual Charlotte African American Festival will support African American educational programs in the Charlotte community.
