On Saturday, April 27th, the Norman High Band Association will celebrate the 11th Annual Big Band Dinner Dance! This unique event brings together local musicians and dancers to celebrate jazz and big band music, while benefiting the programs of the Norman High School Band.
Norman has a well-documented tradition of excellence in the area of Fine Arts. Annually, Norman Public Schools is recognized for superior performances, marching excellence, and individual musicians performing at the highest level. But each year, the fine arts struggle to fund the many wonderful programs and experiences our children have grown to know and appreciate. We need your support now more than ever.
The Big Band Dinner Dance is a wonderful night of music that helps us remember how important these talents are to our community and to our lives. The evening is not only fun and entertaining, it raises much-needed funds to support the band program as a whole.
