We are already preparing for the 11th Annual Bella’s Ball, which will be held at L’auberge Casino on September 8, 2022. Trey and I are honored to have the opportunity to share Bella’s story and to honor other children fighting life-threatening illness. This event not only helps to raise awareness and funds to support the foundation’s mission but also gives us the chance to show others how we pass on courage, belief, faith, and strength. Bella’s Ball is our leading fundraiser that allows us to fund ongoing initiatives throughout the year. Our focus is providing Comfort Care at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital which includes several princesses and superhero appearances, all holiday parties, over 500 comfort care bags delivered and distributed annually, and an iPad a month gifted to a child battling cancer. The foundation also supports an ongoing tissue necrosis research study grant to LSU. In 2021, we expanded our reach to provide Comfort Care to Children’s Hospital New Orleans, Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, and Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.
We will have a silent and live auction with wonderful cocktails and cuisine included throughout the evening. The entertainment later in the evening are The Bag of Donuts!
