11 years already?? We couldn't have done it without you guys and we want you to join us AGAIN!We start the event on Saturday, August 19th, with Free Video Game Day starting at 9AM and ending at 1PM. We are handing out over 600 games for FREE with no obligation of buying ANYTHING. These games will be from most platforms and include LOTS of amazing titles worth $50+. Inside those bags are also a variety of coupons and a BUNCH of gift cards randomly inserted into them.
The Extra Life Toronto Guild will be on hand helping us with crowd control and running the donation side of things. We will have a prize wheel setup with awesome prizes, TONS of raffle prize baskets from Businesses and ourselves that you can enter to win by buying raffle tickets. There will be stuff for the WHOLE family, not just gaming related. All funds raised through donations will be provided to Extra Life and 100% of the proceeds go to SickKids Foundation in Toronto.
Starting at noon on Saturday we will be starting a 12 hour live stream on Twitch in-store where people can play games with us and other events will be happening. We will be hosting a Mario Kart Tournament on Sunday. We will be doing a live stream on Twitch in-store from 9AM till 9PM. We will also be hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament on Saturday. Both tournaments will have gift certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. We ask that you provide a donation to Extra Life in the amount of at least $3 to be in the competition but it is not required. We will be giving out prizes during our stream including gift certificates, game codes galore and more. All proceeds from bits, donations, subscriptions and such will be donated to Extra Life.
