Wednesday 10 June 2026Want to help accelerate social innovation in QLD?
The grand challenges of our time, such as homelessness, addiction, and mental health, can't be solved by single solutions working in isolation. 10x10 is where people who care about social innovation come to connect, and this event is hosted by a committee of volunteers!
Join us on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, for a shark-tank style pitch and crowdfunding event to support three exceptional early-stage Non-profit Organisations (NFP) innovating to solve social challenges in QLD.
The three NFPs we are supporting on the night are:
Human Nature Adventure Therapy [https://humannature.org.au/]
Founded in 2015 on the Far North Coast of NSW, Human Nature is reimagining what youth mental health support looks like. Rather than clinical rooms, they take young people aged 14 to 18 out into the natural environment, where meaningful conversations happen more freely and healing can genuinely take hold. Their team of mental health professionals works with young people facing complex trauma and disadvantage, using nature-based therapy to transform their stories into ones of resilience and growth. It is a beautifully simple and profoundly effective idea: meet young people where they are, literally and emotionally.
EPIC Pathways [https://www.epicpathways.org.au/]
EPIC Pathways is a First Nations-led not-for-profit with a clear and urgent mission: to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students have the mentoring, support, and belief in themselves to finish school, find their path, and step into leadership. Their programs focus on Year 12 graduation, school attendance, cultural connection, and career awareness, tracking real outcomes that matter to students and their communities. They build partnerships across universities, corporates, and community organisations to dismantle the barriers that too many young First Nations people still face. EPIC Pathways is not just building careers; it is building a generation.
Green Fox Training Studio [https://greenfoxtrainingstudio.com.au/]
Green Fox is doing something truly groundbreaking. As Australia's first not-for-profit creative training facility established inside a high-security prison, Green Fox operates full-service graphic design training studios within prisons, detention centres, and community settings. Their model is brilliantly two-sided: they deliver high-quality creative work for corporate clients while simultaneously providing real skills, confidence, and economic opportunity to people who need it most, including detained and at-risk youth, women leaving the justice system, and women from migrant, asylum seeker, and refugee backgrounds. The result is reduced reoffending, reduced marginalisation, and lives genuinely transformed through creativity. Green Fox is proof that innovation and social impact go hand in hand.
Meet the Sharks for Good and MC
This year's event brings together two powerhouse Sharks for Good and a host who knows how to hold a room.
Anthony Ryan | Shark No. 1 CEO, Brisbane Economic Development Agency
Anthony has spent his career investing in communities. As former CEO of Youngcare, he pioneered the transformation of a national NFP into an innovative organisation creating real choice and dignity for young Australians with high physical care needs. Recognised as a Queensland Great in 2013, Anthony brings deep expertise in social impact, strategic partnerships, and what it really takes to build something that lasts.
Rachel Condos-Fields | Shark No. 2 Founder and CEO, WattleNest
Rachel's work centres on one idea: that opportunity should not be determined by affordability. Through WattleNest, she connects business, community, and sport to remove barriers and create genuine access for individuals and communities. She also serves as a non-executive director of World Youth International, and brings broad experience across professional services, fintech, and the not-for-profit sector.
Olympia Kwitowski | Master of Ceremonies, Professional MC and Speaker
Olympia has hosted events for some of Queensland's most respected community organisations, including RSPCA Queensland, MND Queensland, and Epilepsy Queensland. She brings warmth, wit, and genuine care to every room she hosts. We're proud to have her lead the evening.
Donate to attend and help make a difference
By making a tax-deductible ticket purchase of $100*, you’re directly helping these organisations to grow their impact. Upon arrival, two ‘pledge tokens’ worth $50 each will be provided to each attendee – you’ll select and donate your tokens to the organisation that resonates with you on the night.
As a bonus on the night, you will also be able to enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles thanks to our generous sponsors, networking opportunities, and a live auction.
How the shark-tank style event works:
* Arrive for networking with values-aligned professionals
* Listen to 3 innovative NFPs pitch for 5 minutes each
* Hear the questioning from our 'Sharks for Good' who help unpack the mission, business model and sustainability
* Ask your own questions of the NFPs
* Vote for your preferred organisation with your two $50 tokens
* Engage with further fundraising by getting involved with the raffles and auctions

What is 10x10?
10x10 builds the networks that back innovative not-for-profits (NFPs) taking on Australia’s toughest social challenges. We do that by fuelling a thriving movement through our flagship events and building a venture philanthropy funding ecosystem that unlocks new and better philanthropy.
Who we support
The organisations we support punch above their weight. They’re under seven years old, have revenue less than AUD3M and are using innovative solutions to solve societal challenges across cause areas, including domestic violence, homelessness, recidivism, mental health, accessibility and food insecurity.
Some examples of organisations we've supported that have gone on to do big things include OrangeSky Laundry, Confit Pathways and This Is A Conversation Starter (TIACS).
