Riffmas Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Epic Night of Riffs and Holiday Cheer at Icon LoungeGet ready to deck the halls with heavy riffs! The beloved annual holiday metal extravaganza Riffmas returns for its milestone 10th anniversary on December 27th, transforming the Icon Lounge into a winter wonderland of face-melting music and family-friendly festivities.
For just $20 per person, fans of all ages are invited to join the Riff family in celebrating a decade of Christmas cheer, crushing guitar solos, and unbreakable community spirit. This all-ages event promises great music, fun times, and memories that’ll last longer than your uncle’s fruitcake.
• Headliner: RIFFLORD – The undisputed kings of riff worship close out the night with their signature blend of stoner-doom thunder and holiday-tinged anthems. Expect sleigh bells to meet sludge riffs in a set that’ll leave the Icon Lounge shaking.
• Sinking Steps Rising Eyes – Kicking off the evening with atmospheric post-metal soundscapes that build like a blizzard and hit like an avalanche.
• Thought Patrol – High-octane punk-metal hybrids patrolling the stage with razor-sharp riffs and rebellious energy.
• Indigent – Intelligent, intricate prog-metal that’ll have your brain and your fists equally engaged.
What started as a small gathering of riff-obsessed friends in 2015 has grown into Sioux Falls’ premier holiday metal tradition. Over the past ten years, Riffmas has welcomed thousands of fans – from wide-eyed kids discovering metal to grizzled veterans headbanging with their grandkids – all united under one roof for a night of music, merriment, and metal.
“This isn’t just a show – it’s a family reunion,” says RIFFLORD frontman Wyatt Bartlett. “Ten years of Riffmas means ten years of new friends, epic sets, and proving that Christmas can absolutely shred.”
