Following three consecutive sold-out conferences, the Recovery Capital Conference is expanding in a big way. In 2026, we proudly move to the new BMO Centre in Calgary—creating space for more voices, more learning, and more meaningful connections than ever before.

Now in its 10th year, the Recovery Capital Conference has become one of the most influential gatherings focused on mental health, addiction, and recovery-oriented systems of care. Each year, the conference brings together healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, community leaders, and people with lived and living experience from across Canada and beyond.

The Recovery Capital Conference convenes leading decision-makers, practitioners, and experts to address key issues, solutions, and strategies in mental health and addiction. The conference emphasizes a Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC),Days a model focused on building and strengthening recovery capital at individual, community, and system levels.


New for 2026: Pre-Conference Workshop Day - September 22

The Planning Committee is excited to introduce a new pre-conference workshop, designed to deliver practical, real-world tools clinicians can immediately apply in practice.

Fundamentals of Concurrent Disorders: Contemporary Issues and Medico-Legal Risk Mitigation
Offered in collaboration with the Alberta Medical Association – Section of Occupational Medicine

Target audience: Both trained and non-trained addiction Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatrists (everyone is welcome to register)

This workshop will focus on practical and legal fundamentals of addiction care, evidence-informed approaches to complex clinical scenarios, and bridging gaps for clinicians without formal addiction training. Designed for both addiction-trained and non-addiction-trained providers, this in-depth learning experience offers applied knowledge, confidence, and clarity for clinicians caring for patients affected by substance use and mental health challenges. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits available.

  • One-Day Registration (single-day attendance)
  • Two-Day Registration (Days 2 & 3) with full access to main conference programming on Days 2 and 3 only
  • Three-Day Package (Days 1–3), including the pre-conference workshop and full conference access, available at a discounted rate
