Thank you for your commitment to women and families through your participation in United Way Women United’s 10th Annual Power of the Purse Fundraiser and Silent Auction presented by Key4Women. Your support is critical now more than ever, and we appreciate your continued generosity.COVID-19 has affected us all. As your local United Way, we’ve been working with community partners to respond to the consequences that the ongoing pandemic is having on members of our community, particularly those already walking a financial tightrope. We also want to ensure that all United Way volunteer engagement experiences and events are done in a way that keeps everyone safe and healthy.
After consulting with our vendors and reviewing guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Connecticut, we decided to hold Power of the Purse, presented by Key4Women VIRTUALLY on June 17 with featured speaker Lucinda Cross.
The funds raised through Power of the Purse, presented by Key4Women are critical and will be needed as households recover from COVID-19.
Networking starts at 11:30 a.m.
Main event starts at 12:00 p.m.
