Meet at the US-287 King Soopers in Broomfield at 2:30p and join us for an afternoon of fun, Miatas, and (hopefully) a full moon surrounded by stars! Bring your high altitude lungs.This year we’ll return to our namesake Peak to Peak Hwy. Picnic at the lake around 5pm and share a toast or two until dusk, when we fire our engines and head to Beaver Meadows Visitor Center on top of Trail Ridge Road. With luck, the moon and stars will astound. Continue over the pass to Grand Lake if you like.
Park entrance rangers are usually gone by the time we enter the park; if not, they’ll ask for your National Parks Pass or a $25 entry fee. Reservations should not be required as we’ll be entering in late evening.
