Happy birthday, Django and Stephane!
Tenth annual celebration!
The entire evening will be an homage to Django Reinhardt (1/23/1910) and Stephane Grappelli (1/26/1908), the founders of the Quintette du Hot Club de France!
As you have come to expect, we will have a wonderful lineup consisting of:
Nick Gaitan (bass)
Don Jacobs (clarinet)
Juan M. Rangel (guitar)
Kevin Ray (violin)
Alex Zapata (guitar)
That makes the classical quintet lineup of fiddle, guitars, and bass plus the clarinet to round it all out with the sounds of the new quintet.
As, always the theme of the night will be to have a grand time, so put on your dancing shoes (or boots) and dress the part if you'd like or come exactly as you are and bring a friend or make one here. Everybody is welcome.
