Breast Cancer Survivors & Warriors
We strive to show breast cancer fighters and those in-need and in-sickness that they can be part of the merriment and celebration of Mardi Gras and every day life in New Orleans, or wherever they may be. We seek to uplift and inspire the Amazonian spirit year round.
We dress in custom-designed breast plates with shields and swords each year at Carnival time in celebration of all we do year round.
The Amazons purpose is to spread goodness and light around the world! We do this through fundraising, service, keeping our own lives positive and hopeful, spreading joy to others, dancing when everyone is watching, and by celebrating life on the daily! We march in parades, throw parties, luncheons and participate in team activities.
