Started in 2015 by WGN’s Pat Tomasulo and his wife Amy LYFO benefits The Facial Pain Research Foundation’s fight to find a cure for trigeminal neuralgia (tri-GEM-uh-nul nuh-RAL-zhuh) something Amy has suffered with since 2001 and other related neuropathic facial pain. Last year’s event raised well over half a million dollars and this year’s goal is $800K.
