What began a decade ago as an initiative to address the obstacles in medical research funding has evolved into a community of committed scientists and advocates who wholeheartedly believe in the mission of the Research Institute for Children’s Health. As we celebrate our 10th year in this collaborative endeavor in biomedical research, we are incredibly grateful for the support that has brought us to this milestone. Throughout this journey, we have transformed lives, chased the extraordinary, and nurtured the young scientific minds who represent our future.
We hope you will join us for the 10th anniversary celebration of the Giving Kids Hope event taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Tinkham Veale University Center on the Case Western Reserve University campus. The evening promises to be filled with memorable moments, highlighted by a few words from our distinguished guest, Dr. Francis Collins, M.D., Ph.D. This milestone occasion will be emceed by Fox 8 news anchor Natalie Herbick, with auctioneer David McCreary, who is sure to entertain as he assists us in reaching our fundraising goal. Guests will enjoy a progressive menu crafted by James Beard-nominated chef Douglas Katz, paired with wines from Ohio-owned Gregory James Wines.
Together, we are making strides towards a world where rare genetic diseases no longer dictate the limits of a child's potential.
