It's REACH Rocks Day! Curious about the rocks of the Hanford Reach? They have amazing stories to tell! Join us for a special exploration of our local geology with a treasure hunt, and short guided tours of the geological exhibits by museum educators at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30. Learn about rockhounding and lapidary arts from members of Lakeside Gem & Mineral Club. Rock collectors ages 8 to 16, along with parents/guardians, are welcome to join the Junior Rock Club for an evening rock swap 6:30 - 8:00 on the patio (indoor exhibits are closed during the evening event.) Celebrate the REACH Museum’s Tenth Anniversary with free admission all day long* for local residents on 7/9, 7/16, 7/23 and 7/30!
*No new admissions after 4pm.
