You're invited to our Whoopensocker 10th Anniversary Extravaganza on November 7th!In just two months, Whoopensocker turns 10 years old! — and we’d be honored if you could join us to “Whoop it up!”
Ten years ago, Erica Halverson and her motley band of artists and educators entered the schools of MMSD, bringing arts education to a new level! From that first day of creating Whoopensocker City at Sandburg Elementary, Whoopensocker has been promoting creativity and self-esteem in student authors in the classroom and performing their works all over Madison!
In the past decade, Whoopenscoker has celebrated thousands of students through the adaptation and performance of their original stories on stage. Dance, Song, Movement, Drama, Comedy; we’ve done it all for them and for you, the audience!
Join us for an unforgettable night of socializing, fun, fundraising, laughter, and theater as we reflect on the last 10 years and look for your help to continue WHOOPENSOCKER for many more.
All donations and proceeds from the show will go directly to bringing Whoopensocker on stage for our students and Madison Audiences!
