Duluth has amazing trails and outdoor spaces, but many lands we think of as “parks” have limited protection from development.

Join the Duluth Area Outdoor Alliance (DAOA) for an informative presentation about public lands in Duluth. We will explore what these lands are, their vulnerabilities to sale or transfer, and the protections that are in place, if any. The discussion will cover our existing parks and open spaces and how we arrived at our current situation. Additionally, we'll highlight steps each of us can take to help ensure that Duluth remains a "green belt" city.
