100 Winter Hats for the Higginson Tower

Two ways to participate! Join our community of knit and crochet peeps and create one or more hand-made winter hats, berets or tuques! Children's and adult hats are welcome. Each will be sold during the Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour for $10, $15 or $20 and all proceeds will go to the historical Higginson Tower! (Our 3-person event committee will price each hat.)
If you are making a hat to donate to this event, please remember it must be hand-made and made of new materials as well as never worn. Please attach a small tag to indicate the fibre content (acrylic, merino, mohair, etc.) You can drop off your hand-made hats to The Review offices at 76 Main Street East on weekdays between 9:30 and 3 pm. BY OCTOBER 1, 2026, PLEASE :)
Can't knit? Buy a hat! Stop in at The Review at 76 Main Street East on Christmas Home Tour day (November 7) between 9 am and 4 pm and shop for a unique, locally-made winter hat! A great Christmas gift idea!
