100 Miles One Purpose

Later this October, I'll be attempting to set the Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the Katy Trail, with the goal of breaking the current record and becoming the first person to complete the trail (240miles) in under 12 hours.
This ride is the first community training ride leading up to that attempt, but it's about more than just preparing for a record.
John and I are partnering up with CHADS Coalition for Mental Health to raise awareness and support for suicide prevention. I lost my dad to suicide, and John lost his son. While we share a heartbreaking connection, we also share the hope that by bringing people together, we can help others know they are never alone.
Whether you're training for your own goals or just looking for a fun day on the bike, I'd love for you to join us.
🚴 Community Gravel Ride
📍 Meet at Bikes & Brews – Chesterfield
📅 Saturday, July 25
⏰ 6:00 AM
We'll roll at a comfortable 15–16 mph pace for 100 miles on the Katy Trail - 50 miles out, then 50 miles back. After the ride, we'll hang out at Bikes & Brews with bagels, drinks, and good conversation.
Everyone is welcome. Come ride, meet great people, and support an important cause.
If you'd like to support CHADS Coalition or simply be part of the journey toward the October FKT attempt, I'd love to have you there.
See you on the trail. 🤝💙
