Roots Cafe was originally started by Jaszol of Polands Roots Revival Sound System...his idea was to give Leicester's roots vinylists a regular chance to spin some tunes...I-Mitri originally asked me play n then after a year or so I took over the running of the night...I-Mitri and myself took up the residents position and invited local guests...we've had alot of people grace the Roots Cafe turntable here's the ones I can remember (sorry if I missed anyone out)Higher Meditation, Vibronics, Oneness, Desi Roots, Hytal Bosrah, Kindread,V.O.T.P, Freedem, DJ745, Jungle Lion,J Rockers, Security Sound,

The early days weren't easy but luckily Aga and Marcin stuck with us and it has grown into what we have today...

For the 10 Year celebration it's an honour to once again welcome Vibronics and Higher Meditation...these guys have joined us a few times now and always bring big vibes and a big selection...also Mr Feelgood and Rootical
will be warming up the night so please arrive early...
