10 Years of Alligator Wine and Days Between Celebration at the BOB

We invite you to help us celebrate our 10th Bday with a very special "Days Between" celebration of the music and life of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead on Friday, Aug 7 at the Broadway Oyster Bar.
As many of you know, every year from Aug 1 (Garcia's BDay) through Aug 9 (The anniversary of his passing in 1995) the Grateful Dead community around the world celebrates the music, art and life of Jerry Garcia during the period known as "The Days Between". This year, our Days Between show will be on Fri Aug 7 at the Broadway Oyster Bar. We will play a special "All Jerry" show with two loaded sets of high energy Jerry tunes as we celebrate the big guy in the best way we can imagine.

10 years ago, as a part of the Day's Between celebrations here in St. Louis, a few of us were asked to play some Dead tunes at Pops Blue Moon. Josip Capan, Carson Mann, and Phil Wright of the band The Scandaleros joined by Sean Anglin of Vitamen A, came together and threw together a list of familiar Dead and Jerry songs and played a couple of very fun sets. We had so much fun that by the end of the week, we had a band name, a FB page, and a few more shows booked and Alligator Wine was born.....Through the years and changes and more, we've continued to love exploring and putting our own spin on this incredible musical catalogue. We hope you will come help us celebrate our BDay at the BOB on Aug 7.
