Join us for a 10-year celebration!

For a decade, At Bat has been dedicated to making the sport of baseball and softball accessible to the community. With free clinics, camps, after-school, and summer programs, we pride ourselves on giving youth the freedom to play.

Please join us in celebrating 10 years of service at our event at the Patton Recreation Center. This event will highlight our achievements and showcase who we are. Together, we can celebrate this milestone and find new ways to keep things moving forward.

Organization Background:

In 2015, African American representation in the Major League Baseball (MLB) association had dropped to 9.8%. This decline encouraged Founder and Executive Director Delrisha Hayes to start the nonprofit At Bat. At Bat was founded in November 2015 with a mission to increase the number of at-risk youth participating in baseball and softball. (The organization defines at-risk as a child whose household income is 200% below the federal poverty level.)
