About this Event

Spring has arrived, and I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Scene Work classes, starting February 25th. We currently have just 3 places remaining.

This is a 10-week course focused on creativity, discovery, and enjoyment. The group is small (maximum 12 ), which means plenty of individual attention and a supportive working environment.

Acting Training with Gabrielle Breathnach
– Voice training with Fiona Browne
– Movement coaching with Bryan Burroughs

You will come away with:
🎭 An opportunity to work and gain direction from professionals in the industry
🎬 Insight into how to approach and inhabit a role on stage
🎤 A stronger connection to voice and body

Everyone already signed up is new to this kind of work but open, curious, and up for the challenge. It’s a very welcoming group.

Dates: February 25, March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1, April 8 (Easter break), April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6.

·       Week 1: An introduction to acting techniques, an opportunity to play, and step into several charachters, and discover which types of roles you would like to play

·       Weeks 2–5: You’ll be paired with a scene partner and assigned a scene to explore together. Through guided exercises, you’ll discover into your character’s motivations, relationships, and objectives—learning how to bring authenticity, depth, and nuance to your dialogue.

·       Midway Point: We’ll introduce two focused workshops on voice and movement, led by our returning guest coaches:

·        Week 5:  (Voice Coach): to help you strengthen vocal presence and clarity.

·       Week 6:  (Movement Coach): to develop physical awareness and expressiveness in performance.

·       Final Weeks: You’ll refine your scene and integrate all your learning in preparation for a workshop performance in front of an invited audience. (No pressure—inviting friends or family is entirely optional! You’ll have plenty of rehearsal and learn practical techniques to manage nerves.)

You’ll come away with:

·       A deeper understanding of scene work and character development

·       An opportunity to work receive acting, movement and vocal coaching from professionals in the industry

·       Confidence and experience performing in front of an audience

·       A feeling of having achieved a massive accomplishment!

·       The performance bug.  You’ll be looking for more!

When & Where

·       Duration: 10 weeks, starting on February 25th, 2026

·       Time: 6:30 pm – 9 pm

·       Location: Dublin 6  ( exact venue tbc)

·       Cost: €350.00  -Option to pay in two instalments

·       Maximum 12 in class

 Experience required? None! You don’t need previous training , just bring curiosity, openness, and willingness to play.
