The ReCreators are running a 10 week Circular Woodworking Design Course every Thursday at West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE
Once you book in here you will be sent an application form, then the course tutor will be in touch to discuss the course and proceed with the application process.
Course will include:
Sourcing (types of wood, design that suits different wood dimensions and hardness etc)
Power Tools 101/102 ( if required- all skills welcome)
Designing to sell and earn an income
Manufacturing processes
Marketing, sales and pricing
Mentoring sessions
Final pitch event to promote your work.
Notes:
All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.
Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
