10 th Annual - Lift Up Every Baby! : Growing Stronger Together!

The African American Breastfeeding Network (AABN) is excited to host its 10th Annual Lift Up Every Baby! (LUEB) celebration on Saturday, August 24. This year’s theme Growing Stronger Together emphasizes the crucial intersection of birth and community, and a decade of our collective commitment to improve maternal-infant health and advance equity. LUEB takes place at the beautiful Heritage Green Park (62nd/Custer) on Saturday, August 24 from 11:30 AM until 5:00 PM. The event kick-off with the Red, Bike and Green Bike Riders parade into the park, and continues with an official opening ceremony to ‘lift up’ all babies and embrace pregnant mothers. LUEB culminates with a community dinner and baby shower. Other activities include a father/partner circle, kids’ zone, health/wellness stations, and a community connectors resource area.
