Dance for a Cause. Celebrate a Milestone. Support Young Adults with Cancer.This year marks a huge milestone for Katie. She is celebrating 10 years cancer-free!! 🎉
To honour this moment and give back, Katie is hosting a 10 hour Dance-a-thon in support of Young Adults Cancer Canada (YACC).
During her cancer journey, Katie attended a YACC retreat during the winter. She shared and listened to stories, made friends, reflected and created connections. Some of the friends she made there have since passed on and she misses them dearly. Katie is grateful to YACC for “supporting young adults living with, through, and beyond cancer.” https://youngadultcancer.ca/
Katie’s goal is to raise $10,000 between January and May 2026, with all funds going directly to YACC.

Come dance for an hour or stay for all ten. Every step, spin and donation makes a difference. There will be a mix of DJ’ed and live music, solo and partnered dancing, as well as dance performances by various dance groups.

Noon to 1: Lindy Hop/Balboa Hour (Band set)
1 pm to 2 pm: 50s/60s Hour
2 pm to 3 pm: 70s/80s Hour
3 pm to 4 pm: Kids Pop Hour
4 pm to 5 pm: Country Hour
5 pm to 6 pm: Latin Hour
6 pm to 7 pm: Ballroom/West Coast Hour
7 pm to 8 pm: Live Local Music
8 pm to 9 pm: 90s/2000s
9 pm to 10 pm: Lindy Hop/Blues Hour (Band set)
